Large painting

Well, I've worked small and medium but never larger than 24x30.  Now, however, I will attempt
a large painting, 60x40, for my daughters new house.  The subject is selected, as is the canvas.
I am looking at this as an adventure.

If anyone has any suggestions on do's and don'ts for this project, I would welcome them.  I've done
a sketch and small painting..........may do another.

This is a study I did for a larger painting of street musicians I saw in
Italy.  This fellow had the most character and personality.  I think it
was the hair and the hat that won me over.
